That all of these apparent contradictions are quite easily resolvable should move people to examine the Bible for themselves rather than rely on other people’s regurgitation of “Higher Criticism” and other academic pretensions.

My suggestion to you would be to look at why you seem so intent on foisting your religious opinions on others. Is it because you’re convinced you’re right, is it to perform a social service in showing others are wrong, or is it perhaps just a way to pick fights? It would take me too long to figure out what your specific psychological blockages are that prevent you from seeing things from others’ perspective. God bless.
BTW: when I say “God bless” I mean to respect the fictional being — who for my purposes could be Superman or Santa Claus — that you’re a superfan of as I can empathize with your need for a dad-in-the-sky or a need for a belief in a bonus level in the sky. God bless!

I’m not taking up any opinion other than to not have people come evangelize here and think they have some knockdown argument and that those who oppose them are benighted. I would like nothing more than to have an open space where any non-violent viewpoint is tolerated if not entertained. We all need to attempt to challenge our preconceptions if we want to grow and the people who would be best served by these sorts of books are the least willing to listen to them because of their preconceived notions. actually reading the bible is the surest way to make an atheist. Yahweh is just another god in a long line of deities that were worshipped as “real” in their time… Ra, Zeus, Odin, etc. like the Cult of Trump, religion is for weak minded people who want simple answers/solutions [have faith!] for complicated questions/problems. Hopefully humans grow out of this delusion that makes them so easy to manipulate
