Pierre Menard was required reading on my first degree, and I’ve used it in most of the writers-groups I’ve taught since.
Three versions of Judas is probably the most important piece of Christian apologetics since Cosmas Indicopleustes.
I’ve suspected for a long time that any thirty Borges fictions chosen at random probably contain more education than most undergraduate courses in Philosophy, Language Arts, or Creative Writing.
Thanks so much for the equivalent of twelve years at a middling university.
