The novel was first published in the United States in 1832; the title being ‘Elizabeth Bennet or Pride and Prejudice’.
The story is the finding of true love between the free-spirited Elizabeth Bennet and the aloof Mr Darcy.
Pride and Prejudice is the classic ‘Regency romance’ novel and one of the best loved novels in English Literature.

Why is this under the ‘undead’ section?

I believe it’s referring to the age-group that would be interested in this book (as opposed to teen, or children).

The sound is mettalic.
I have heard better at 32kbps.
This is a very good novel and reading has been praised much.
But it has not been ripped properly, i guess. At 80 kbps (vbr) the sound should be crisp.

Sounds fine to me.
No worse than the sample at Audible for this book anyway.
I give it 4*, would be 5 if it were chapterised.
The specs are VBR av bitrate 74.4Kbps
lame settings were:
-m j -V 3 -q 0 -lowpass 11 –vbr-new -b 8
so quality is 3, which is pretty good.
