Original version of the Dodie Smith classic, surprisingly divergent from the Disney version everybody knows. The charm factor here is just about unsurpassed, especially as rendered by narrator Joanna Lumley (Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous).
Unfortunately this recording (at least to my knowledge) has never been released in digital form, and the cassette rip I did does not really do it justice. I hope you will still enjoy.

Our copy has always been missing part of the last chapter (though we listened to it anyway) and I hadn’t been able to find another copy to replace it until now.
