Read this one ages ago (in Israel, which is bound up with the memory). Remember absolutely loving it. Great building atmosphere.

The whole series is good. I kinda liked the movie too, even though it was a little cheesy.

no offense to rmoor, but I listened to this and then watched the movie…there is 95 minutes I’ll never get back.
OMG it sucked. Michael Mann wrote and directed The Last of The Mohicans and Heat, two of the GREATEST movies ever. The Keep was horrible! He wrote the screenplay and it barely used the book at all.
I bet Ian Mckellan, Gabriel Byrne and Scott Glenn wish they never made that (too polite to say it).
This book deserves another remake by someone who cares about the book.
