Set against the backdrop of China’s Cultural Revolution, a secret military project sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens. An alien civilisation on the brink of destruction captures the signal and plans to invade Earth.
Meanwhile, on Earth, different camps start forming, planning to either welcome the superior beings and help them or to fight against the invasion.

Merida, a fantastic choice. Thank you.

where is magnet or torrent link? I can not download

Fantastic book, but this is once again Repost of old books that are already on the site.

Hi Milky69 - nope, it’s a different narrator, I did check before uploading.
July 21st, 2019
If it is a different narrator, sorry, but still it’s still THE SAME BOOK.
And what is up with description? it’s ABYSMAL.

this is real description from an actual book (yes I have the book and I work in Printing whole series)
Dropping this “description” is just an Insult to the book.

Alternative narrators suit different listeners - this narrator has an english accent rather than american.
Perhaps you could take any concerns about uploads involving different narrators and poor descriptions by the publisher to the forum.
I am sharing books which people may either choose to download, or not as they prefer.
Thanks for your input though Milky69 :)

In other news: sharing is, most assuredly, caring.
July 22nd, 2019
And in further news: jeering is jarring.
Thanks Merida, I for one typically prefer an accent I relate to more.

Thanks for your efforts
If possible, could you please upload the rest of the series read by the same narrator and characterized like you did this book?
Many thanks

I have to agree with Merida769
As a speaker of the Queens English, the bastardisation of the colonials does jar. Please Please “Quay” is pronounced “Key” even more “route” is pronounced “root”. Don not even get me started on Edinburgh or the Thames, It makes the audio annoying at least.
Imagine listening to a narrator who would call the Mississippi the “Mogasappy Ribber”

Thank you so much, Merida! I super love this book. It’s great to have another narrator. Now I can listen again with a different feeling. :)

Thanks for uploading. Different narrators are worth posting, and the bitrate is higher too.
July 22nd, 2019
rather a duplicate posting of this than the usual romance dross that takes up pages and pages :p
July 22nd, 2019
I dunno dave, some of the vampire romance has real bite to it.

Thank you for the upload. You rock.
July 20th, 2020
thanks , for those making noise about the accent , keep in mind the original book is in mandarin
October 29th, 2020
Thank you. Much preferred in English than American. Grateful for the effort to post this version. Well done.

Thanks so much for this version. I LOVE Luke Daniels, I really do. But I HATE listening to Luke Daniels trying to speak Chinese. Bruno Roubicek’s Chinese also has a foreign accent but sounds way way way better.

Thank you very much, I too prefer the English accent. :-)

Fantastic post with a much better narrator and translation. Could you post the sequel (The Dark Forest) read by Bruno Roubicek as well?
THANK YOU for posting this.
It’s DEFINITELY appropriate and very warmly received by 99% here.
