Thank so much for this perfect copy of a Discworld novel. I am in the process of trying to get the very best copies of this series that I can possibly get and this one adds to my collection. I’ve got so many different copies from different sources of these that I decided to get the best and then buy the ones I can’t find. So far, I have proper CD rips, audible lossless rips and Overdrive rips of some but the more I get, then the more I needn’t buy, as there are quite a few which are very dear. Thank You

OK just noticed I already have your other flac copy of this sorted by CD, oh well chapter splits are better although most of his books aren’t split by chapter, especially the first ones.

@jsmithers366, always glad to contribute. Yeah, I decided to start chapterizing my uploads where possible. This audiobook had chapters, so I went ahead and did it because it was short and easy. More coming soon!

FLAC seems overkill for a file that started life as 64kbps, 22.5kHz.
Unless you actually managed to get this file at better than Audible bitrates?

This didn’t start as a 64kbps file. I managed to get my hands on a physical CD, and ripped it using EAC. For more info, check out this forum post:

If you listen to my upload and compare it to an Audible copy, you should be able to hear a pretty big difference. The whole reason behind my ripping CDs is because Audible hertz to listen to (pun intended :-) ).
But yeah, check out my other FLAC uploads, I do have some high quality MP3s I’ve uplaoded as well (320kbps conversions of my FLAC rips).
