All Systems Red is the tense first science fiction adventure novella in Martha Wells’ series The Murderbot Diaries. For fans of Westworld, Ex Machina, Ann Leckie’s Imperial Raadch series, or Iain M. Banks’ Culture novels.
All Systems Red tackles questions of the ethics of sentient robotics. The main character is a deadly security droid that has bucked its restrictive programming and is balanced between contemplative self-discovery and an idle instinct to kill all humans.
In a corporate-dominated spacefaring future, planetary missions must be approved and supplied by the Company. Exploratory teams are accompanied by Company-supplied security androids, for their own safety.
But in a society where contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder, safety isn’t a primary concern.
On a distant planet, a team of scientists are conducting surface tests, shadowed by their Company-supplied ‘droid - a self-aware SecUnit that has hacked its own governor module, and refers to itself (though never out loud) as “Murderbot.”
Scornful of humans, all it really wants is to be left alone long enough to figure out who it is. But when a neighboring mission goes dark, it’s up to the scientists and their Murderbot to get to the truth.

The follow-up to the hugely popular science fiction action-adventure All Systems Red
Artificial Condition continues The Murderbot Diaries, a science fiction series that tackles questions of the ethics of sentient robotics. It appeals to fans of Westworld, Ex Machina, Ann Leckie’s Imperial Raadch series, or Iain M. Banks’ Culture novels. The main character is a deadly security droid that has bucked its restrictive programming and is balanced between contemplative self-discovery and an idle instinct to kill all humans. “As a heartless killing machine, I was a complete failure.”
It has a dark past - one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot.” But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.
Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.
What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks.

The third thrilling book in the increasingly popular Murderbot Diaries, which began with All Systems Red.
Sci-fi’s favorite antisocial AI is back on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah’s SecUnit is.
And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good.
Martha Wells’ Rogue Protocol is the third in the Murderbot Diaries series, starring a humanlike android who keeps getting sucked back into adventure after adventure, though it just wants to be left alone, away from humanity and small talk.
Listen to Rogue Protocol and find out why Hugo Award winner Ann Leckie wrote, “I love Murderbot!”

The fourth and final part of the Murderbot Diaries series that began with All Systems Red.
Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?
Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah - its former owner (protector? friend?) - submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.
But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue? And what will become of it when it’s caught?

OK Millennial, or whatever you are. I’m not a Boomer, btw.

men should keep their opinions of what women should be doing to themselves, boomer.

Simple Qustion,
Which of the first four commentators used the comments to rate or review the torrent? It’s a shame that the comment box is being used by individuals to demonstrate their lack of intelligence. One could argue that Aristotlemendoza is putting down a slight against women (which I support) however, What in the title of litote said he or she was a male. Therefore, aristotalmendoza’s comments are sexist in the extreme. As he/she is making a profound sexist remark against males.
As I said demonstrating their lack of intelegnce
So yes - grate torrent Thanks for the work % stars

“Ok boomer”? LOL! That is so sad! Pathetic really. People are not entitled to opinions? I seriously prefer male writers for many reasons but I still give women writers a chance in the genres I enjoy. Its just a fact that there are fewer women who understand the nuance of the male psyche and fewer and fewer men too. But “boomer” is really not an argument: Its an admission of ignorance.

Martha Wells burns it up in this Murderbot series.
Story telling at its best.
Period.

Hi there,
The Mp3’s I uploaded seem to work OK for everyone else. They were direct re encodes using open audible and I could skip them just fine on every mp3 playing software on my pc and phone. So….yeah, kinda rude to call my upload :corrupt as hell”.
Especially since I take the time to upload stuff when I don’t have to.
You’re welcome.

The torrent is great, I love the series. I’m really sickened, hurt, and angry that sexism still exists. Murder(bot) systemic patriarchy.

Thanx…..

Thanks for the upload

Thanks for the upload. I’ll give them a go. As for female writers…Please…J.K. Rowling, Robin Hobb, Sarah Maas, Rachel Carter just to name a few. The sex of a person does not mean they are incapable of writing a bloody good novel
May 11th, 2021
Here is an equally sexist comment. Women and men should keep they’re opinion on what other sex should be doing. There now shut the F up.

The series and the author have won two Hugos, two Locus awards, & a Nebula. It’s not worth debating with a troll when at the end of the day it’s their lone opinion vs some of the most discerning critics in the genre. What has the troll accomplished to make their opinion so weighty? Are they an acclaimed author? No, they’re not because if they were they wouldn’t be on here disparaging all female authors - that is the territory of angry, fragile, nobodies who have accomplished nothing. Their opinion isn’t worth the attention they so desperately want, in the future..let’s just pity them and move on.
